ムシクイ科

ムシクイ科（ムシクイか、Phylloscopidae）は、スズメ目に属する鳥の科の一つである。

特徴

ユーラシアに大半が生息し、北アフリカ、メラネシアにも少数が生息する。

昆虫食の小さな鳥である。

系統と分類

系統樹の科間は Alström et al. (2006); Johansson et al. (2008)より、科内は主にJohansson et al. (2007)、補助的に Olsson et al. (2005); Olsson et al. (2005); Price (2010)より。Clade I は Johansson et al. (2008) による、clade 1–2, A–C は Olsson et al. による、数字は Price による仮の系統名（一部は Price の系統複数をまとめている）である。ムシクイ科内ではおよそ750万年以上の古さの系統を独立して記す（ただし確実な系統のみを記すために一部はずらしている）。種は著名なものか文中に現れるもののみ記す。

ムシクイ科は Alström et al. により新たに認識され命名された科であり、ウグイス科・エナガ科と近縁である。

強く支持される2つの単系統に分かれ、これらが分岐したのは1200万年前である。

一方、分類上は、メボソムシクイ属 Phylloscopus とモリムシクイ属 Seicercus の2属に分類されている（ただしモリムシクイはモリムシクイ属ではなくメボソムシクイ属である）。しかしこれらの2属はいずれも単系統ではない。モリムシクイ属は Clade 1 内の複数個所に分散した多系統で、側系統のメボソムシクイ属に内包される。メボソムシクイ属の一部が Cryptigata 属（模式種 ニューギニアムシクイ）や Acanthopneuste 属（模式種 メボソムシクイ）とされたこともあったが、これらも多系統である。

モリムシクイ属は多系統だが、数種を除いた大多数の種は単系統を成す（図の狭義のモリムシクイ属）。別系統の種のうちハイガシラモリムシクイはモリムシクイ属から除外され、さらにクリガシラモリムシクイ・チャガシラモリムシクイを除外する説もある。

メボソムシクイ属は側系統なので、内包するモリムシクイ属を含めるか、複数属に分割する必要がある。分割する場合、模式種のキタヤナギムシクイ P. trochilus は Clade 2 にあるため、少なくとも Clade 1 内の種は Phylloscopus から分離されることになる。Clade A が Cryptigata 属、Clade B が Acanthopneuste 属（和名 メボソムシクイ属 ?）となりうることが示されている。ただし Clade B の単系統性は不確実である。Clade A と Clade B が分岐したのは750万年前であり、仮にこの基準でメボソムシクイ属全体を分割すると10属前後となる（図の各枝にほぼ対応する）。

ハヤシムシクイ類は Johansson et al.; Price では扱っていないが（そのため番号がない）、Olsson et al. では狭義のモリムシクイ属の姉妹群とする弱い結果が出ている。

歴史

伝統的にムシクイ類に含められ、他のムシクイ類と共にヒタキ科ウグイス亜科、ウグイス科、ウグイス科ヨシキリ亜科などに分類されてきた。

Dickinson (2003) はPhylloscopinae を置き、現在のムシクイ科に加え、ズアカムシクイ Tickellia・マミジロムシクイ属 Abroscopus（現在は共にウグイス科）・チビオムシクイ属 Sylvietta（現在はハシナガムシクイ科）などを含めた。

リニアシーケンスは部分的にIOCによっているが、大きな区分は Price (2010)の 1–24 の順に配した（属も無視した）。サンプリングされていない種（n.d. と付記した）はIOCのリニアシーケンスなどを参考に近縁な種の近くに配した。
